In the past ten years China’s IMO Team has achieved outstanding results — they have always been among the top 3, in fact in the first place most of the time. The authors of this book are coaches of the China national team. They are Xiong Bin, Yao Yijun, Qu Zhenhua, et al. The translator of this book is Chen Xiaomin. The materials of this book come from a series of two books (in Chinese) on Forward to IMO: A Collection of Mathematical Olympiad Problems (2015–2016). It is a collection of problems and solutions of the major mathematical competitions in China. It provides a glimpse of how the China national team is selected and formed.
