520 | _aIt is a matter of great honor to be a part of a team which undertook the daunting task of revising and presenting the 14" edition of Sir Dinshaw Mulla's classic work on the Transfer of Property Act. When we began our task, the publishers requested us that the editorial revisions could align with the original approach of the learned author. With all humility, I informed the publishers that most of us on the Bench and those at the Bar have learnt our fundamentals in transfer of property from this locus classicus. We have neither the command nor the irreverence to change the structure and framework of the original book. What we have done is to revise and do a bit of spring cleaning so that this work remains relevant today as it was when it was first written. The last edition of this work was released in 2018. Apart from the general revision and updation, this edition focuses on the impact of key decisions on the law of transfer of immovable property. We have approached our task keeping in mind the need for clarity and simplicity in exposition which has been the hall mark of the previous editions. | ||
