Dissertation note: Thesis Ph.D. Alliance School of Business, Alliance University 2024 Dr.Vivekanand Summary: This research aimed to understand innovative work behavior from an individual and group perspective. Creativity and Critical Thinking have been considered individuallevel constructs, and Personal Initiative, Networking, and Teamwork as group-level constructs in the study. The review of literature uncovered a chance to examine the relationships among these variables. This study measures the impact of these variables from a practical work perspective so that supervisors can design necessary interventions to improve teamwork. Subsequently, the implications are undertaken during recruiting candidates and staff allocation for projects or operations. This study examined a total of 282 responses, mostly from individuals working in the IT industry. Data was collected through an online survey using the Warp PLS tool for quantitative analysis that employs the PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling) method. The study results indicate that critical thinking impacts the relationship between creativity and personal initiative, whereas networking impacts the relationship between personal initiative and teamwork. Further, the study also reveals that creativity does not directly influence teamwork. The practical implications of these findings were discussed that might help supervisors manage their team members' innovative work behaviour effectively.
